    Full grain leather farrier apron / farrier chinks / chainsaw chaps. Some clients even use these as sawmill chaps.

    The body of the apron is full grain American cowhide leather with the belt portion made from full grain bridle leather.

    For the reinforced layer on the knees/thighs, you can choose between 2 high quality options:
    -buffalo leather in a worn saddle dark brown that's tough and long lasting.
    or
    -pearl grain mule hide leather, which is widely considered to be the most durable of all leather.

    Our apron/chaps are hand cut and handmade from full grain leather hides in a patchwork of brown leathers. The chaps are reinforced with two layers of leather above the knee on the thighs for extra durability. We build a utility pouch into the right side. On the left, we add a tool slot. If you select the option for Farrier apron, we also build in a magnet that will hold your hoof nails. The magnet is left off if you select the option for chainsaw chaps.

    This apron is highly durable and also has a great authentic look.

    Please note, these aprons are of a patchwork style, which means the individual pieces of the rig may vary in shades of brown, which give it character and uniqueness. The shades of the leather on your apron may vary slightly from those in the photos here but will always be of the same high quality.

    OPTION: add a personalized tag with your name or initials.

    SAFETY NOTICE: these chaps are **NOT** chainsaw safety chaps. Leather is the only material used in this handcrafted item.

Return Policy & Exchanges

RETURNS: We do not accept returns for refunds, but if we've made an error, we will exchange the item at no cost to the client and will cover shipping costs.

EXCHANGES: If you ordered the wrong size for your item (a belt, for example), we will exchange for the size you need. We ask the client to cover the shipping costs of the exchange: shipping the item to us and the return shipping back to you.

PERSONALIZED ITEMS: We do not accept returns or exchanges on items that are personalized unless we made an error on the item.
